First of all – Happy Birthday, Charlie!!!! (One of my nephews in Alaska.)Â
I have a conference to go to on Wednesday, so home stuff is sliding a bit. We had a terrible dinner – it was going to be sausage and scrambled eggs – fast and easy. I’m not normally a fan of breakfast stuff for dinner, but what can you do? The bad part was that we actually only had two eggs. So it was a tiny little serving – one egg and one little sausage apiece.
But dessert was awesome! The cook at school can make some rocking ‘chocolate muffins’ that are really just cupcakes with no frosting. We had extras, so I brought one home. I usually don’t care for cake that much, but these bring me to my knees with delicious joy. I must find out the recipe!!! (Oh, and I was the only one who had dessert. There was just one cupcake.)

I love breakfast for dinner, or lunch or anytime! I like pancakes (with King syrup only; am I the last person on Earth that uses this stuff?), bacon, eggs, bacon, toast or english muffins, and bacon, Mmmmmmmm …
but one egg & one sausage does sound pitiful … but still yummy!

I thought the only way to HAVE breakfast was for dinner!
AND bacon ALWAYS has to be involved -- burnt, crispy bacon -- yummmm.
Lauren -- if you ever come to visit, I will make you my delicious sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast casserole (with a side of bacon of course!)
I hope you are stocked up on Carnation Instant Breakfast for your guest -- and LOTS of cereal!
