New listing system

September 17, 2007

Journal, Lauren

It is discouraging to me that early every morning I am energized and already listing all the things I’ll accomplish when the school day is done.  The world is my oyster!  Clean the basement? – sure!  Organize the closets? – why, with time to spare!  I keep a little scrap of paper with me and when I think of another thing that I could do, it’s added to the list.  By the actual end of the day, though, that energy is gone and I just want to go home and wait for bedtime.  Tonight I stuck it out, though, and I’ve decided something – instead of being discouraged by all the things on my original list that don’t get done, I’m going to start listing the things that I did do.  So - congratulations, Lauren, on not being worthless tonight!
Listing my life.

(What I’m proudest of is getting two coats of primer on the threshold.  Now it can rain without rotting!)

Shiny cuz it's fresh.

Congrats on the beautiful threshold…but what I really want to know is WHO is Ashley? And why is it such a big deal that she has the same peanut butter you do? (For those of you confused, checek the comments list to your right.)

Is that thing in the upper lefthand corner of the the threshold picture a socked foot? If so, your treshold is VERY white or you need to use more bleach…

Yes, it’s Lloyd’s foot. Any time I do something there has to be somebody to ‘come and see!’ and Lloyd is the default see-er.

Now, about this Ashley thing. I don’t know her either. So what’s the proper thing to do here? Do I delete her comment or just post this one so it knocks her off the roster? Oh, that just did it. Never mind.
