Happy Birthday, Mom!

September 23, 2007

Journal, Lauren

Neener neener neener.

My parents’ birthdays are both in September.  Dad’s was back on the 11th, and today (Monday) is Mom’s!  I believe you’re 29 today, correct?  The above photo was taken when she was just a tyke with an attitude.  That’s Grandpa Ernie and Grandma Norie.    Have a great day, Mom!  (Her name is Nancy if you’d like to leave birthday greetings, everyone. 🙂 )  She hardly ever makes that face now!

Is it inappropriate to sing the Birthday Dirge? It’s my favorite.

    Happy Birthday Mrs. Lauren’s Mom!!!

A monk was sent to help transcribe the bible. He was astonished that all the other monks were transcribing it from other copies. He brought this to the Monsignor’s attention, explaining the high probability of errors if not transcribed from the original text. So the Mosignor decided to pull out an original. “OH ——!!”, he exclaimed, “WE FORGOT THE “R”!!!!!”

Thanks, everyone, for the birthday wishes! It is cold and rainy here in Colorado, so I needed the cheer to brighten my day.

I HAVE to say Mrs. Hoffmann! I’ve known her since I was in elementary school, so it’s just too weird to say Nancy…

Is that THE Grandpa Ernie? It just occurred to me. Check out his tie! It’s totally short! I love that.

Happy Birthday, my only sister. You turned out pretty nice considering that expression. I, however, have picked up that “attitude” expression in your honor. Hope your day was good. Can’t wait to see you this weekend. Love ya, Marcy
