After Friday being so messed up, Saturday turned out much better. In the morning I made breakfast from the previous night’s ham and potatoes, figured some cool stuff out on the computer and made the second shelf/cubby thing for school. Here you can see how I work best when building. There’s no ‘workbench’, just the floor of our messy, messy basement. Also, I’m in my jammies. There’s no finer way to dress on a Saturday morning!
We went to Omaha in the afternoon to spend Lloyd’s gift certificate to the Apple store. It was tough to decide what to spend it on, but in the end we got a wireless keyboard. The gift certificate was the reimbursement from the iPhone – he paid the big price, remember. So do we call this the iKeyboard now?
Brad says
Have you tested the keyboard’s range? Can you type from the front yard or from upstairs? That would be cool.
Lauren says
Can I type from this far away? Now I’m sitting on the trunk. Now I’m out in the entry with the door open. I’m on the patio outside. I’m in Brad’s room.
So, any where in the house is going to be less than twenty linear feet from this keyboard, so it can go that far. Does that mean that what I’m typing could show up on the neighbor’s screen? That could be embarrassing.
Karla says
Your toes look amazingly long in that picture…
Lauren says
They are long, but the lighting in this photo makes them look like they’re growing from the middle of my feet.
Cousin Sam says
I have a request that “Lloyd” only be called by his baptized name: iLloyd in all posts where any thing Steve Jobs related is shared. iLloyd -- you going to LEA-Minnesota?
Lauren says
iLloyd has powered down for the night, but the answer to your query is ‘yes’.
Cousin Sam says
Ha Ha you said query hee hee hee
