My sister Keren lives in Alaska (can you believe it?) and came down to the lower 48 with her boys. We met up in Denver for a whirlwind evening/morning of swimming/talking/eating/shopping. It was great! I don’t know about the rest of you, but my family lives far apart and we don’t often have the chance to get together in person. The last time we were together was when my dad retired….. 7 years ago?? Jacob was an infant and Charlie was a toddler. Now they’re actual people!
Coming home, I only almost killed one person by swerving into their lane. All in all, not too bad driving. (It wasn’t because I was tired – I didn’t pay attention.) I also had the chance to pee here:
I came home to a clean house (thanks, Lloyd), had a birthday beverage with Annette (Happy Birthday, Annette!) and now am off to bed.

You were in Denver and didn’t pop in to say hello? 😉
The weather was nice for you, at least. Today, not so much (but good for gardening).
Deanne says
Wow! All by yourself to Denver?! I’m impressed.
Brad says
What’s your Aunt Adjective? Are you Scary Aunt Lauren? Funny Aunt Lauren? Mysterious Aunt Lauren?
Lauren says
I was going for ‘Rich Aunt Lauren’. 🙂 We had a good time at Target! (For those of you who may be confused, Lloyd goes by ‘Crazy Uncle Lloyd’ to all nieces and nephews.)
Kitt, I didn’t know!
Peggy says
Welcome home!
How long did it take you to drive to Denver anyway?
Just wondering, beings I’m a new highway driver. I’m thinking if you can do it, maybe I can too!!
Lauren says
Thank you, thank you. It takes about 7 hours or so to get from here to there. I think I took a little longer because the Honda’s cruise control doesn’t work and I kept getting distracted.
Lloyd's Mom says
Way to go Lauren!
