Blah, blah, blah, insert important words about chives here, delicious herb used in many recipes, blah, blah, blah. (I just thought I took a good picture.)
Um, until I noticed the broken downspout in the background. Curses!

It doesn’t look broken… it just looks like… a really tight curve… (?)
Is that the stuff on the south side with long stems and really skinny leaves? I was going to call and ask you what it was, then I remembered that I never call anybody.
Well, there’s a nice clump of lavender there that has been making it through the winters the last couple of years.
Lavender and rosemary look very similar: long stems and skinny leaves. They smell different when you brush them, though. Rosemary smells a lot like like pine. Lavender smells like… uh… laundry detergent? …air freshener?
Yeah, high school sounds good.
When you read that, do you hear it in your head with an English accent? I always do. Same thing happens with, “I’m not dead” and “It’s just a flesh wound.”

Pretty chives!

I had my own laugh about that… when do you think my kids will be ready for that. High school, I guess. A couple more years. Same with The Wall.

You’re supposed to brush your plants? Dnag.
Beth says
Maybe that’s been your problem all along, huh?
Lauren says
‘100 brush strokes to make your herbs shine’ -- yeah, I think I’ve heard that before…..

What do I do if it smells like pine laundry detergent?
