So, the internal fear of going to the reunion and not remembering a single soul was completely unfounded. Tonight we had a little get-together at a local park, and it was delightful. It was crazy to see people who I haven’t laid eyes on in two decades. Everybody looked great, as they should, and it was fun discovering memories that have been forgotten for so long. Class of ’88 rocks!
We gathered for a group photo on the float that we’ll be riding tomorrow in the hot, hot, hot weather. I’ve already warned people that’ll I’ll be complaining loudly when I start to sweat like a pig. Nobody seemed to be surprised. Huh.
Lloyd is under strict instructions to whistle and yell ‘Hubba hubba’ as the float passes by. 🙂
Beth says
Wow! That’s a great bunch -- awesome! I especially like the two cowboy hats. And that bald guy in the front row in the white shirt is a good-lookin’ man.
Not to mention that brunette beauty standing toward the back right! 😀
Michele says
Yes, what a brunette hottie! I picked Lauren out right away.
That sky looks odd. What’s up with that?
Jill says
The official color is skybluepink. At least, that’s what my dad always told me when I was a kid…
Lauren says
I think you might all be looking at Tricia (in the brown shirt, no glasses) and thinking it’s me. I’m the dork in the white shirt, pink lei and glasses just to the left of her.
Michele says
Yep -- your the one I picked out.
You’re not a dork silly!
Brad says
Are you going to run out into the crowd and hug people like Scottie the Hottie did?
Lauren says
I will only run into the crowd if someone yells at me -- by name. Can you guys be here by 10:00 Mountain Time?
Karla says
Wow! How big was your class? That looks like a great turnout!
Lauren says
We had about 119, and I think around 40 of us were there.
Karla says
Hehehe Your turnout is bigger than my graduating class!
Kristi says
Beemer High School graduating class: 18
Karla says
Oh! You have Lloyd and I beat. Ours was about 23.
Heidi says
No fair I always wanted a little person in my school!
