Ah – I feel much better. I slept for nearly twelve hours the previous day, and I was afraid of falling asleep today and messing up the ol’ internal clock, so I puttered around – folded some laundry, swept the laundry room, and made lunch. Then I caught up on missed episodes of ‘House’ and ‘Bones’ on the computer. (God bless the internet.) Lloyd was much more productive – he mowed the lawn! Annette brought over some soup for dinner and she and Lloyd worked on the CDC’s new website. (It’s not yet ready for it’s prime-time premiere.) All in all, a very nice day.
Cricket was the most laid-back of all. Her only goal on Saturday is to sit on that chair and have someone else move it into the sunshine.
Speaking of solar, here is a fun real-time link that shows how the earth is turning under that cat-powering sunshine. It’s fun to leave the window open and refresh it every 15 – 20 minutes.

Oh, I love the link! It fun to think about traveling over that sun-line. I’m super-jealous of the 12-hour sleep, though. I would have loved that, but duty calls this weekend. Next weekend too. Oh, and the weekend after that. But the following weekend… I’m going to Colombia!
Lauren says
I think going to Columbia wins.
Deanne says
🙂

The CDC’s site looks good, but it needs a capital letter in the first sentance: “St. John Child Development center opened its doors to 39 children from our community…”
Annette says
Thanks Karla…it’s corrected!
Karla says
Now that’s what I call service! 🙂
Annette says
I had a grrrrreat teacher!
Beth says
Tony the Tiger?
Peggy says
I think there’s something wrong with your Nebraskian sun…it doesn’t seem to be powering anything….
Will you be adding pictures to your awesome CDC’s website?
Michele says
Ahhh -- my favorite part of Fall is the sunny spot!
Cricket says
Amen.
