Linens-N-Things is going out of business.
Rats. This was one of my ‘haunts’ on Lincoln trips. I walked through and looked at the linens and the things, but I didn’t need anythings. I’m in the market for a blender, but I’m enjoying the search more than I’ll enjoy actually buying one. The prices weren’t stellar, but I’m sure there will be better deals as it gets closer to the end. Sounds kind of morbid, huh?
In other news, it was CRAY-Z windy around here today. We lost some more soffit (again) from the back roof, and it’s gone for good. Looks like we’ll have to hire somebody to fix it, rather than risk Lloyd’s life again.

Going out of business sales always drive me crazy because I never see anything I need. Why doesn’t this happen when I need something?
Deanne says
Simple. Going out of business sales happen because the store is stocking very little of what people need and too much of what they don’t need.
Peggy says
Maybe the government should bail them out…I mean what will people do without their Linens … n things …. the American people need their things!
Lauren says
True. So true. If we can’t have our Rachel Ray Yum-O EVOO dispensers in four different colors, what will our country become?
Deborah says
HA!

I just realized ALL Linens and Things are going out of business. I’ll have to check that out. You know we Gebhardts are crazy bargain shoppers. Last Saturday Charles go a pair of hiking boots, a pair of golf shoes, 2 camp chair, 2 fleece throws, a package of socks, and various other little things for $48. And this was not a garage sale, it was at an actual store. Be amazed!
Deborah says
So, do you read my late-in-the-day comments?
Karla says
I do!
Lauren says
As do I, it’s just early in the morning for me. 🙂 Shop on, Bargain Hunters! Shop on!
Beth says
I read them too. I have a website checking disease. No post goes unnoticed.
