Beth, Brad and I went to Lincoln this afternoon to do a little shopping, then met up with the whole Pester/Royuk clan for a pre-farewell dinner for Brad. (He’s leaving on Wednesday, but Beth and Harold will be gone Tuesday night, so we said our good-byes early – kind of like a Living Wake.) We ate at a pizza place that had a game room, and the kids cleaned up with the loot from the claw game! Candy, necklaces, and angry green figurines. (Thank you to the Parental Royuks for dinner!)
Afterward, there was still time for me to visit the haircut place at Wal-Mart. They’re open until 9 p.m., so feel free to have Tammi cut your hair there. She did a pretty decent job. Brad took this photo while the security guard wondered about his motives toward the good people at Cost Cutters.
Beth says
YAY for pizza! YAY for haircuts at 9pm! BOO for Brad leaving. YAY for Beth and Harold going to Chicago and for anniversaries! BOO for bad timing.
I’ll still see you before you go Brad. Even if it’s just at the Lincoln airport…
Brad says
Rather than try to explain myself to the security guard, I just looked guilty and ran away. I’m probably on some list at Walmart now. Good thing I’m leaving the state. They’ll never catch me.
Peggy says
So where’s the picture of the cut? We want to see Tammi’s work before we fly out there…
(BTW: That brick wall is my kind of puzzle)
Lauren says
The cut is nothing to write home about, but it’s satisfactory (meaning: it’s not a mullet).
