Well, here we are. Another year gone, and another one coming up. I’d say that overall it was a fine year, but then again – they’ve all been pretty good.
I’ve never been one for resolutions, but I’ve often looked back and thought, “Y’know, if I’d just spent a few minutes exercising/practicing piano/playing ukulele/ every day, I’d be pretty healthy/talented/good by now.” This year, though, I’m going to try to put it to the test. Each Wednesday* I’m going to try to add a new ‘Five minutes a day’ thing to my life and see how it goes. I’ll let you in on a secret, though – I’m a big quitter. I also resolve to watch more t.v.
*That’s right, a ‘Old Year’ resolution, not a ‘New Year’.
