No, the taxes aren’t done. I went to sunrise service this morning while Lloyd slept. It was very nice! (Side note: Since it was 6:30 in the morning, it was not as well-attended as I’m sure the other services were, so when the middle sections went up to communion, the 10 people sitting on our side side sounded a little exposed during the hymns. That was especially great when I was singing verse 5 rather loudly, and realized halfway through that we were actually on verse 4. Oh, well.)
Anyway, the rest of the day was filled with food and naps. Mostly naps on Lloyd’s part, and I believe he has polished off 7 or 8 (I’m not kidding) cans of orange juice and 3 boxes of Kleenexes this weekend. He assures me he’ll do the taxes tomorrow. Here’s hoping.

I’m not done with mine either. I’m waiting as long as I can because after I do taxes I can’t spend money for two months. I’m going to the garden center today and possibly making an appointment for a massage. THEN I’ll do my taxes.
Beth says
Heh. That’s ok. Harold sang half of verse 4 before he realized that it was an organ solo verse.
It made him thankful that he sings quietly.
Deanne says
Plenty of time. Plus, you can file an extension.
Peggy says
If it makes you feel any better, I haven’t even started mine yet. Haven’t even loaded Turbo-tax onto the computer. Truth is, I’d rather have a root canal than do my taxes. Literally.
Deanne says
I can hook you up with a good endodontist, Peggy…
Peggy says
Great! When can I take my taxes to him?
Lauren says
Lloyd, did I leave a black camera cable by the computer? Call me if you read this.
christina says
What is wrong with you people?? Doing taxes is FUN!
CousinSam says
Is doing taxes for FREE fun?
Lloyd says
I have to pretend like I don’t like it, because I get big brownie points with Lauren for doing it. If she thought I liked doing it, then it wouldn’t count.
Lauren says
Hey….
