A big ol’ messed up update

Whew. Not having the internet at my fingertips really put a cramp on my style. I’m going to briefly and poorly sum up the past few days.

Heit’s Point was wonderful. The Sommerer Family got together for their annual reunion and had a great time despite cooler temperatures and the occasional rainstorm.

Lloyd’ World Famous Pasta Salad was a hit at both dinners, thank you very much. We played down at the lake on Saturday, where we also had lunch at the dock.

This way to the grub.

Lloyd and I stayed in a bunkhouse with Sam & Rachel & Co., and the best part of THAT was that Rachel reads to her children at night so I got a bedtime story! Thanks, Rachel!

I took a paltry amount of photos, but Lloyd has some. He’ll post them to our Flickr account soon, and you can click on the sidebar to find them.

Ok. We’re in Branson right now. We met up with my parents here at a time share, and my brother Phil and his family (Rachel, Scarlett & Jack are in a time share close by. We toodled around town and went to the Dinosaur Museum. The dinosaurs don’t move, thank goodness, but we were concerned nonetheless.

Watch out, Scarlett!

Mark (my brother), Rachel (his wife) and Matthew (their new son) are coming down tomorrow, along with my sister Keren and her two sons Charlie and Jacob. Whew! It’s the first time in ten years that the Hofmans have all been together! I’ll keep you posted.

Guess what? I might ride a Segway tomorrow!!!!

Keren, here are pictures from your room. (I promised her I’d show some.)

Here’s the kitchen:

I don’t have pictures of the living room or the boys’ room. You’ll like it!
