Bubbles, Babes ..... and Tim

Bubbles, Babes ….. and Tim

Journal

We had company this evening! Deborah, her daughters Macy and Bethany, Kristi, her daughter Joanna, Beth, her children Tara and Tim, and of course – Brad (but he’s not really company).

We visited, had pizza, then went outside for some HOT fun. Everybody pulled a bubble blower out of nowhere and started blowing bubbles. Seriously – Tim had one, then Tara had one, then Kristi had four, then Beth had two. It was a little spooky. Spooky, but fun.

We had to take a break for icy cold lemonade.

Then we had the second fire in the awesome fire pit and roasted marshmallows. Mmmmmm… I love to roast marshmallows, but absolutely hate to eat them. I wish I had a job that involved roasting marshmallows all day.

Lauren, I have a new job offer for you. You can come on all of our camping trips and roast marshmallows. I will see to it that you’re fully provided for -- tent, sleeping bag, food, and wine, if you’re into that. All you have to do is roast marshmallows as soon as the fire is lit.

And get here, of course. Or is there any good camping in Nebraska?

I LOVE toasted marshmallows. I had five or six of them. I would have eaten more, but it was freakishly hot next to the fire.

There were lots of little people! Their ages were 2,4,5,6,and 7. So cute to watch this little amoeba of persons move from room to room.

    And the s’mores were excellent!

Lauren, in that second picture, it looks like you are using one of Brad’s breakfast cups to hold the bubble juice. Is that right?

Hi Deborah! I’m so envious that you got to experience the new fire pit! 🙂
