I left my camera at school, so you’ll have to wait to see the majesty that is my homemade ancient Japanese kotatsu table, but while plugging it in tonight for its test run, I hit my head on the windowsill above the outlet.
Guess when school pictures are?
Brad says
Will you be cutting a hole in the floor under your table for a charcoal pit?
I hope so.
Brad says
If you develop a big bruise on your face, you should try to make your school picture as much like a mug shot as possible.
Beth says
And then send them in your Christmas cards. Oh wait.
Deanne says
tomorrow?
Kristi says
Then you might as well cut your hair, too.
Peggy says
Hehe…(Hey Lauren, I’m getting my hair cut today, and I have the EXACT problems as you do. With our crazy new cuts & lumpy heads, maybe we could be twins for Halloween)
Lauren says
I need to know what happened to your head, Peggy.
Peggy says
I’ve probably mentioned this before…but last December my attic ladder fell down & hit me square on the head. It’s VERY heavy. I was home alone & I swear things went black for a few seconds. Anyway, I still have a lump from it. It’s kind of a dent/lump.
Lauren says
DANG!! That is awful!!
Peggy says
I had to look up kotatsu table. I, of course, would have no need for such an appliance, but I CAN’T wait to see yours in action.
Sorry about your head. If a buckeye sized lump has grown, I’m sorry to tell you that you’ll still have it for next year’s pictures!
Quiana says
I cannot wait to see your kotatsu project come to fruition. I lived in Japan and since coming home I think of the kotatsu all the time. *sigh*
Lauren says
Um….. how good are you at dealing with disappointment? Poorly constructed, slightly dangerous disappointment?
