Lauren needed to buy some more toner for the printer at school, so we went to Office Depot. Buying the 2-pack was $20.00 cheaper than buying 2 single-packs so we bought the 2-pack (are you paying attention, the wal*marts?). When we got to the checkout counter the helpful Office Depot person said, “I think there’s a deal this week on HP products.” Sure enough, If you buy more than $100.00 worth of HP toner you get a free ream of paper.
Normally this would nice enough, but this is some seriously nice paper. 32lb and Ultra Bright. I’m pretty sure that this is the same paper that Joseph used on his programming assignments. I remember because when I handed his assignments back to him I would say, “Good job. Nice paper.”
Good Job, Office Depot & HP. Nice paper.

Yay for nice paper! My personal favorite to buy is Astrobrights, but there is something really satisfying about premium white paper like that.

There’s also card stock astrobright. That’s what I print(ed) the Buddy Lists on.

What makes nice paper so satisfying? I don’t have the answer, but I too enjoy paper satisfaction.

I don’t have a paper fixation…but cardstock, pens, folders, notebooks, highlighters, desk trays….all delight me! And of course deals are the best on things you love!

I was in a paper store over the weekend in Old Town Alexandria. Wow, they had some cool stuff. I’m glad I don’t have a lot of disposable income, or I’d waste it in places like that!
Lauren's mom says
Is that white at the top of this post that seriously nice Ultra-Bright paper?
Lloyd says
It is an actual, untouched, photo of said paper.
