We went to a fundraiser last night for a young lady that used to work at the CDC and was in a terrible car accident. She is in a coma, and you can read about her progress here if you like. Your prayers are needed – her name is Savana.

They had a waffle dinner, and the WaffleMan was in the house. This dude is amazing! He had 20 Belgian waffle irons going, and the waffles were fantastic! Crispy, crispy, crispy on the outside, light as a feather inside.

I need a waffle maker made out of cast iron instead of my cheap-o plastic one.

He can bring up to 25.

The toppings are fake butter and flavored syrups, but hey – whipped cream and two links of sausage and we’ll call it good delicious.

Lloyd had a different syrup in each quadrant, then ate some of Kate's.

I’ve been to a Waffleman event before (thank you, Samith and Steph), and next time I’ll just sneak in my own butter…. and sneak out some waffles.

I’ve heard that pocket waffles are some of the best waffles you can eat.
