It’s actually been warm here, and when warm weather hits I like to make lemonade. It’s got a little less sugar than pop (I think), and it’s handy to have around. I sometimes make lemonade concentrate and keep a bottle in the fridge. The recipe is: Add a bunch of sugar to some water and heat it until the sugar dissolves. Add some lemon juice. Taste. Too sour? Add more sugar. Too sweet? Add more lemon juice. Good luck with that and let me know when you find an actual recipe that takes less guesswork.
Anyway, tonight I found a way to make it even more healthy! You’ll need the concentrate, a frozen strawberry and a stick blender – preferably one that is permanently stained from making curry.
Drop the berry.
Soften it up with a bit o’ lemonade..
Get ready for some whirlin’.
Whirl away!
Re-constitute and enjoy.
Take that, Red Robin. I have your delicious lemonade right here!
(I really just left these directions so Lloyd would know how to make his own glass.)

The framing of your countertop pictures looks just like Veggie Tales.

I hope Larry and Bob weren’t friends with that strawberry.

I’m glad this post was about strawberry lemonade.
That first picture looked a lot like a glass of meatloaf grease at first glance and I was getting the jibblies seeing it with a straw.
Strawberry lemonade…Harold will be jealous…

Dang it. I forgot to remove the zombie gravatar on that last comment…

I was
hopingassuming the drink was going to be a new “Relieve all your stress after a rough day at work” kind of drink….all such drinks I like to drink with a straw!Kristi says
At first I thought Peggy wrote “Relive” all your stress. Then I read the fine print. Ha!

I thought you were going to say you posted this so Lloyd could make one for ME! (It’s all about me!)
Lloyd says
I’m keeping you safe from zombies. That should be enough.
