As creeped out as I am by spiders, I completely admire their web-making skilz. I was walking around the house and saw a web that went from the edge of the gutter to the bush below. The spider that made it was teeny-tiny, so how is that even possible? Crawl up to the gutter, attach a line, then descend and hope that a slight breeze doesn’t blow you over to the neighbor’s house?
Crazy.
Good job, creepy little spider.
Mark says
To make those you have to crawl up the waterspout, and hope and pray the rain doesn’t wash you out.
Lauren's mom says
Ha, Mark! Good one!
Brad says
I always wonder about that too. Do they have a plan when they start? Their heads are so small; they must not have very big brains. How do they do it?
Peggy says
Gee, that is an impressive web! Nice shot too Lauren!
I always feel so guilty when I have to knock down a spider web in my house…it seems so cruel destroying their home & masterpiece. Do they cry or get mad … ’cause they have to rebuild alot I’m assuming.
