Looks like my new career is just ahead! There’s a Trader Joe’s opening up in Lincoln. I hear that ‘crew members’ can make between $40,000-$60,000. Sa-wheet! I look forward to the pay raise.

Oh, I'll apply. Rest assured - I'll apply!

And, just because I love it so much, the song again.

What department would you hope to work in? I would think working in the “meat” department would be hard: having to witness the senseless slaughter of all those innocent tofus.

So Lincoln has a Raising Cane’s and now is getting a Trader Joe’s? Oh, life is so unfair.

PS there was a very interesting article on the secret Trader Joe’s business life last month in Fortune magazine. Be sure to read up on that and you’ll ace your interview for sure.

I read it! Lloyd was supposed to pass the information on when a friend sent him the link, but he didn’t. I had to seek it out on my own. Drat you, Lloyd!!!

Yay!! But will you stay there once IKEA comes to Seward? And will IKEA offer cool names for their employees like TJ’s? Would you stay a crew member or become an Edelweiss?

If you get a job there, will you send me cool food items (if I send you the money?) We have no Trader Joe’s here. Nope.
