I was going to show you how I finally used that little stick-on vase. It turns out it’s a very fine cord holder:
Then I realized that it looked very sad as-is, and needed something actually in the vase. Surely I have some sort of flower-like thing around here, right?
Well, it turns out that I did. This flower doo-dad must have been for a wedding gift or something, because it’s very un-me. We have flower pens at work, and this seemed like the perfect thing to make. I attached it to a fine-tip Sharpie. (It’s a great pen for writing checks. I permanently sign my money away!)
There you go. A white flower in a clear vase stuck to a white computer on a white counter against a white wall. Good grief. I think I need to visit Oz.

I’m not sure, but there might still be some real flowers outside that could bring some color into that picture. Or you could raid a cemetery for some colorful artificial ones.

This should be no problem for an inventive girl like yourself! You could do the petal tips in gold spray paint, glitter, chocolate, fun dip…the the possibilities are endless! Or you could hang a piece of black felt on the wall.
