Lloyd loves his birthday present, though it took him a while to figure out how to use it.
It’s an amazingly soft scarf with pockets for cryin’ out loud! She bought it as a joke so he could keep his Kleenex in the pockets, but as it turns out, he wears it all the time. It has become his blankie, and I envy it. It’s so soft!!
Lloyd doesn’t deserve it. He doesn’t know how to use it! It is not cold in here, Grandma – it’s 71 degrees!
Brad says
I can’t believe how warm it is to wrap your head in a scarf. It’s way different than wearing a hat. If it didn’t make me look so much like the Virgin Mary, I’d do it all the time.
Lloyd says
You need a brown scarf. Then you look like Joseph.
Peggy says
Cool! So it’s a scarf that you can get in? Like a scarf & a blanket in one … a blarf.
But where are the pockets? And where is the picture of Brad as the Virgin Mary?
Gretchen says
“Blarf” doesn’t quite have the pizazz to catch on. Then again “scanket” doesn’t sound much better.
Lauren says
Hee hee -- ‘scanket’.
Kristi says
How long is that scarf/blankie thing? Lloyd looks like he’s in a cocoon. And I dare him to wear that scarf through the airport security.
Kristi says
Now should it be “the” airport security or airport security? I don’t know. Didn’t Beth write about this once-upon-a-time?
Lauren's mom says
Lloyd looks kinda “stuffed up” and sick. Hope he is better now!
Lloyd says
I’m mostly better now.
Beth says
YAY!! for the giant scarf-thing-with-pockets!!!
I’m glad you love it. I just knew you would.
Jill says
Where did you find that? I feel warmer just looking at it!
Keren says
Skanket…heh heh.
