We have a conundrum around here. (That’s for you, Curt.) Lloyd was helping me hang up clothes in the basement and saw the box of detergent: “Does that say Ultra Prius!?”
See, we both have some different purchasing goals in the near-ish future. I want a recliner, he wants a car. Which of us do you think is being more reasonable? If you said me, then you are the smartest person I know. And you’re very attractive, too.
Lloyd feels that he is in the right, especially since – as he points out – his choice would come with two recliners.
What a hybrid.
Brad says
You’re both wrong. You should get a pony. It’s the best of both worlds: it’s relaxing and green (except for the methane emissions).
Beth says
Heh.
(I’ve got nothing better. Happy new-Saturday!)
Deborah says
The Prius scares me. I’ve almost been run over by one because they are silent.
Kristi says
Perhaps you could buy two recliners. Build a little hood over the recliners, and you’re good to go. You get the recliners; Lloyd gets his car.
Peggy says
More reasonable? Lauren. (sorry Lloyd)
Have you ever been in a recliner Lloyd? I’ve been living in one for the past 11 years & it is the best! There’s nothing better than coming home from work & putting your feet up to watch TV & eat. And with a recliner…no more stiff necks. Whether you’re reading a book, working on a craft or watching TV, if you happen to doze off, you will awaken fresh & mobile…unlike when you fall asleep on a couch.
Or you could get the car.
