We went to Trinity Friday night for a special Learning Fair that the Kollipara boys were in, and It. Was. Awesome. Each classroom had very well-done displays of work they had been doing throughout the year. We went to all the boys’ rooms, and Brighton (our godson) was kind enough to inform us which room had a display with ‘fruities’ (fruit jelly candies), but …”you can just have one”. Curses! I chose not to have one, because I probably couldn’t have stopped. Take that, cruel display with your rule candy.
Ian and Ollie were in plays. Ian’s first play was a joke-a-minute skit called “The Census Taker”, and both actors had impeccable timing. Ollie’s was an all-adorable cast performing The Three Billy Goats Gruff, and I almost died of the cuteness. The costumes!! The scenery!! The singing!! Absolutely fabulous. I would watch it again and again, and you can, too.
Well, an edited version. (Lloyd edited it, so it’s got to be good.) Ollie is the troll.
Beth says
HA! Awesome.
Well done Ollie!
Brad says
Holy cow! That’s Ollie? Isn’t he just a baby?
Gretchen says
Was that last goat named “Big Bertha Lee?” Nice. Random trivia fact: The name Bertha was quite popular in the US until the howitzer(used in WWI) was nicknamed “Big Bertha.” That was the last time that name was in the top 10.
Lauren says
Yes, they were equal opportunity goats: three sisters and three brothers.
It’s tough to pick favorite costumes, but I have a special fondness for the flower who turned the top into a visor.
Stephannie says
What I really liked is that Big Bertha was the smallest of the “sister” goats…
Lloyd says
Yes, that was entirely cute.
Peggy says
Excellent!! Acting, singing & editing!! Your pal Ollie is a great troll …. and I mean that in the nicest possible way!
This is the 4th play I’ve seen this spring & they’ve all been great!
Ollie's Mom says
Thanks to Uncle Lloyd and Aunt Lauren for coming to the Learning Fair and for watching the plays/skits. The boys were so excited that you were there!
I would just like to say that I love love love the teachers at TLS and am so thankful for all that they do!
