Journal

I had a whole list of things to do this afternoon after I was done in the classroom, but all that went out the window when a semi pulled into the parking lot and dropped off a big ol’ box of assembly! Woo-hoo!!

Our staff thought about ordering this climber a while ago since it would go well with our Nature Explore-style playground. I was so excited to put it together – by myself. I’m stubborn that way.

Well, I am super-glad that Lloyd showed up at 6, because there were some ropes to put on that just weren’t a-goin’ on. It took us another hour to work on that, then we found out a small, yet vital piece is missing.

No trouble. I’ll e-mail the company tomorrow for a replacement. The kids are going to love it!!

Now, where’s that list…….

The rope ladder one one side needs a bolt. We just tied it out of the way for now so they can climb under.

Very cool. No what the yellowish-greenish things to the left of it?

That thing is AWESOME!! My boys would have loved it! ‘It’s a mountain, now it’s a space ship, … a fort, a prison’….there would have been no end.

    And I HATE to assemble things….unless it’s a cake!
