Brace yourselves, people, because it’s another Lincoln Public Schools auction story. Oh, who are we kidding? You already know how this is going to go:
We arrive. Lloyd and Lauren look around. Lauren gets bored and leaves. Lauren returns to find that Lloyd has purchased an ungodly amount of junk. They deliver it to school. The end.
It was a great day! 😀
Here it is in photos. Some of these things we bought, some of them we didn’t.
This next one was taken in ‘Hipstamatic’ mode, which I love. Here’s a handy auction tip: No matter your level of playing skills – no one wants you to play the piano at the auction. No one.
Lloyd did manage to buy two tables worth of sheet music – surprise! I had the honor of packing it all in the back of the truck, and I was quite proud of myself. Nothing even shifted on the way to school. It was like the ultimate puzzle.
With his ‘we can’t afford air bags’ competitive-packing spirit, Lloyd bought some ceiling speakers and packed them just as tightly as the music.
All was delivered safely, and tomorrow I’ll tell you about my favorite auction purchase!
