The route that I take to school everyday goes over a railroad track. It’s a pretty nice crossing. You can take it at speed if the idiot in front of you doesn’t slow down to a crawl. Usually there is no train, but I’ve traveled this route roughly 1,800 times now (this was my 10th year teaching at Lincoln Lutheran) and so I think it’s pretty safe to say that there’s been a train at the crossing at least 100 times.
However, there are usually never tanks on the train (and by usually, I mean except for this once). I believe they were being dispached to shore up our shaky border with Wyoming.
I am, however, open to other thoughts concerning their destination.
