Spiders hate me.

Spiders hate me.

Seriously, as a kid I knew that everyone had to clean the inside of their houses, but it was never made known to me that the outside would need tending. (Actually, it was probably made known but I was busy daydreaming.)

The cobwebs are becoming embarrassing. A couple of weeks ago a large praying mantis was stuck (alive) in some cobwebs out back and I freaked out. I made Sick Lloyd come outside and try and help it. It did not work.

Today I embraced the shame and cleaned some of the cobwebs off the windows, throwing the washcloth away when done.

I'll never see this rubber band again.

I did half of the house, then had to eat supper.

You cleaned off all the cobwebs BEFORE Halloween?

All you really needed to do was stick a pumpkin cutout in the window. Then you could have put off cleaning for another month. Wait… is there a way to make cobwebs look like a Christmas decoration? Then you could have waited another three months!

Poor, poor praying mantis! I feel sad now. Stupid spiders.

I’m a huge hypocrite. I hate to see animals catch, kill, & eat each other. Yesterday for dinner I stopped and got some nice hot turkey with gravy & mashed potatoes. On the TV in the restaurant they had ‘Outdoor Life’ playing. Ahhhhh! They were showing animals being caught by other animals. I thought to myself, ‘What a HORRIBLE thing to have on while you’re eating. I had to look away…..so I could devour my delicious turkey!

You can reserve the Shedd aquarium in Chicago, to throw a party or wedding reception right there amongst the exhibits and they actually serve FISH!
