A poem.
Pondering the evening’s post,
Lauren’s brain has turned to toast.
Took some photos at the school,
Sun was bright – the kids looked cool.
Can’t show faces here on site,
No permission, t’wouldn’t be right.
Nothing exciting here to show.
Lloyd is playing video.
No energy to prototype,
Creativity ain’t worth the hype.
Bed is calling, warm and snug.
So here’s a picture of a bug.
The end.
What’s your Saturday look like?
Brad says
It seems awfully cold for bugs to be out. Was it dead?
Lauren says
I thought so, too. I asked Sophie to go get something so we could pick it up and look at it (since I’m a chicken and can’t touch bugs) and just as we found a leaf to slide under it -- it flew off.
Deborah says
We’re going to Grand Island to watch our nieces play in the state volleyball final. We’ll do some shopping, too.
Deborah says
Lutheran High won state! Go Eagles!
Peggy says
Dang, your toasted brain is amazing!
I hate bugs too. Big black hairy spiders have invaded my home. Come on sweet winter & nihilate the suckers.
I don’t know what I’m doing today. I know what I should be doing, but hopefully something more fun will present itself.
Kristi says
I’ve been cleaning the refrigerator, cleaning the microwave, baking bread, watching some state championship volleyball, and doing some laundry.

Love the poem. I’d like to take a moment to mention that I find the more topic-less posts to be the most charming.
Saturday I had a facial and bang trim. (Facial lady yelled at me for not exfoliating and declared my skin prematurely aged- then asked how old I was and said never mind. *eye roll*) Then I went shopping with my bestie and had a delicious meal in a nice restaurant with a bunch of infants, having left hers at home believing the place was too fancy a place to bring an infant. *sigh*
