I had some errands to do in Lincoln on Saturday and made Lloyd tag along. We did not have a good time. In fact, we seemed to be unable to communicate in any way that did not end up with me snipping at him.
I blame him.
He tried to apologize for my bad attitude by taking me out to lunch. It was a little cafe on 48th street that was ok, but not great. I ordered a cup of borscht because I had never had it before. For some reason I thought it would be exotic and have beets in it or something, but instead it was a watery beef stew that tasted exactly like Campbell’s vegetable soup.
I blame Lloyd.
On our way to Lloyd’s school we took a different way, and up ahead I saw a big old building with a domed roof. Curious, we drove by it. It turned out to be The First Methodist Episcopal Church. Huh. I thought those were two different denominations, and here they are all mashed up together.
I blame Lloyd.

It’s windy outside, and that feels very cold on my face when I walk Max, the dog.
I blame Lloyd.

I messed up playing bells today at church. I blame Lloyd.
Having been to a few wedding showers lately, this has become a popular gift….but one I had never seen until recently.
Monogramed pillow cases: His says: Mr. Right; Hers says: Mrs. Always Right

I didn’t write a comment for this post yesterday. I blame Lloyd.
I just googled Methodist Episcopal. According to Wikipedia, that denomination was born in Baltimore! Yay Baltimore!
