Story One: Our friend Samith had his 40th birthday yesterday, and his wife Stephannie wanted to surprise him with a card shower. Lloyd got him a computer card, because they are both extreme dorks. (Sorry, Samith, but you know it’s true.)
He signed it with love, using a gold paint pen.
Story Two: After the Great Mystery Stench of February 11th, Beth stopped by and brought an unused garbage can that perfectly fits in the slider-mechanism-thingie in the cupboard.
Hmmmmmmmm…….
I contemplated the gold paint pen, because as we all know, gold paint makes everything better.
Hmmmmmm……..
And then I did this….
Swirly gold! I think my countertops are in danger….
Ribs says
Lloyd, I love that you gave him a computer card! Appeals to me on so many levels.
Lauren, that is one pretty dustbin. Seems a shame that it will live in a cupboard, but at least we can all share in the knowledge of the secret swirls now 🙂
Mary Ellen says
Love the gold paint!!! It can make anything look fancy.
Brad says
Ha! That post you linked to is so old! I only barely remember it.
Brad says
And my card for Samith is still on the table next to my couch.
Peggy says
That trash can is gold (pun intended)!
I have a white trash can in my bathroom…..and I love to paint…hmmmm, why have I never thought of this before?
And what an excellent idea Stephanie! A card shower…..LOVE IT!
I would like to give myself a belated birthday money shower ‘ya all.
Gretchen says
WHITE TRASH can…ha ha ha.
Peggy says
PS--GREAT card Lloyd!
michelle says
I need more memory !
With a card 🙂
Kristi says
You did the swirls on your lampshade, too, I see.
Lauren says
Hee hee -- it came that way, but thanks for thinking I could draw swirls so nicely!
