In case you’ve been curious about how the kitties are doing, here you go.
If I have my information correct, we have three boys (both of the orange tabbies and the all-gray tabby) and the two white-pawed tabbies are girls. Or maybe they’re not – what do I know?
Their eyes are open now and just yesterday they started to stand up on all wobbly fours and take little shaky steps, as opposed to the spastic belly-dragging they are accustomed to.
Here are some ‘recently born’ shots compared to ‘now’ shots:
Princess Batman is doing alright, except for the bout of horrible diarrhea she had today that involved me (The Alpha Cat) giving Mama Hissngrowl a bath, then washing the floors. (jibblie)
I’ve been sleeping in the downstairs guest room since Lloyd is sick, and last night Brad called into my room, “Did you bring a kitten upstairs?” I hadn’t. Princess Batman was apparently freaking out and wanted to move them or something. I got a big rubbermaid tub to put the kittens in, then slept on the couch while PB made all kinds of weird, nervous noises with her babies. All. night. long.
What am I going to do when they start needing a litter box? Do I keep one on each floor or just count on them to use the basement one?
I don’t know what I’m doing.
Lauren's dad says
Ask Lloyd.
Lauren says
He has experience with outside kittens. His advice would be ‘build a barn’. 🙂
Lloyd says
Build a barn.
Peggy says
EXCELLENT photography!! Especially the banner pic & the “I see you seeing me” one. Send that one in somewhere….it’s worth a million!
I’ve missed the cat-cam.
Feel better Lloyd.
Lauren's mom says
Aw-w-w! What a sweet face!
Brad says
It’s interesting to watch Princess Batman do the mommy thing. Lately, she’s been making a lot of Marge Simpson noises.
Deborah says
First of all, HA! When I find myself making Marge Simpson noises, I know I’m in trouble.
