Today Brad’s dad won a major award! He was given the Church Worker Alumnus of the year, and rightfully so, as he (and Elaine) do sooooooooooooooo much for the church and school. I tried to get some good shots, but I had had three cups of coffee and a fruit roll-up for breakfast, so I was super-shaky. Good plan, Lauren. Good plan.

Just like at the Oscars.

Brad had to raise his hand when they called attendance.
Here!

What a wonderful day!

Getting a hug from Aunt Bev.

Then I was off to the indoor field house because they were having a Homecoming Fair that was open to the public and I had mentioned it to my preschool families. We had taken a field trip to the ‘big gym’ and if the kids showed up, I wanted a picture.

They didn’t show up.

To be fair, the event was supposed to go two house but I only waited twenty minutes because I felt like a creepy older outsider with no children and a camera. I did get some shots of the building all gussied up to share with the kids on Monday, though.

This was right at the start when no one was there.

And – I saw Sam and Lois and their kids! (Deborah’s sister’s family)

Watching the kids on the danger slide.

Ha! That’s funny you got a picture of me raising my hand. At first, I couldn’t remember when I did that. Then I remembered -- it was when my dad was introducing all of us who had come.
