Handy AND therapeutic!

So, do you remember Brad’s post that linked to the amazing list of life tips? Here it is: 99 tips

One of the tips was drilling a hole in your garbage can so it’s easier to get the bag in (by letting the trapped air escape). Well, tonight after we identified the source of a horrific smell in the house being the meat tray rotting in the garbage, Lloyd changed the bag and said, “When are you going to drill holes in this can?”

Hmmmph.

I strode to the Drawer Of Seldom-Used Implements and removed…….

an ice pick.

We took turns.

Oh my oh my oh my oh my. There is nothing as satisfying as taking turns stabbing a trash can repeatedly. (While being careful to not stab the foolishly curious kittens, of course.)

By the way, it works like a charm.

Do I see a bread bag clip on the floor in that picture? Save it! Those were mentioned more than once in that list.
