Each year the middle school students at Lincoln Lutheran sell magazines to raise money for some middle school related project (last year they put a basketball goal up outside). Usually they get prizes for selling a certain amount, but this year the top sellers got a can of silly string.
Lauren says
Ha! Excellent!
Deborah says
Well done!
Peggy says
That is awesome!! I didn’t even know they made Silly String anymore.
Brad says
Hehe… Funny!
How long does it take to make a movie like that if:
1) you don’t know what you’re doing.
2) you do know what you’re doing.

iMovie has several different types of projects, and this one was made with the easiest one to use. Basically, there are about a dozen templates that you can choose from and once you have it chosen you fill in some blanks for the text and then drag in the clips that you want to use. They tell you things like “use a wide shot here”, “use an action shot here”, “show a picture of lauren here” (You filled in who was in the movie when you filled in the blanks). It cuts them to the right length, puts in transitions and effects and you’re done.
Once I had imported my footage it took about 15 minutes.
If you don’t know where anything is in iMovie, it would take a little longer, but I doubt it would take an hour.
