Wally has the potentially deadly adorable trick where if I’m in the basement, he jumps/runs up to my shoulder. It’s cute now, but I understand this will be scary if he grows to 15 pounds or so.
I was trying to get it on video, but I was filming upstairs so you wouldn’t see my messy basement. Wally was being a putz – just circling my feet but not jumping – yet off to the side I noticed Ralph repeatedly jumping into the air.
That seemed like a much better use of camera time. I give you: Ralph Jumping at Dust Fairies While Emme Looks On and Wally Messes With A Towel.

Jumpin’ Jehosacats! They are just so adorable!
It’s like watching little kids experiment & explore! Btw: How’s momma cat now that her babies are bigger?

(Oops. I posted a comment before I put on my make-up)

She doesn’t live here anymore. She needed a place where she could poop and it didn’t matter if it was uncovered, and her babies needed some safety. (She was rather cruel there at the end of her time with us. She was unstable.) Off to the country for her -- we have some friends with a barn.

Oh, if Ralph would only go after the dust bunnies.
Brad says
Ha! It looks like Ralph is clapping. Yay!

Awesome. Three cat awesome!
Their sister Gracie June has a 3.5 foot vertical leap. I need to get that on film.

My cat jumps up on my shoulder quite often. Thankfully she finally learned to do it without clawing me. Once she did it from behind while I was cleaning carpets. I was home alone and thought I had heard a strange noise just a few minutes before -- she scared the breath right out of me.
