This is what our living room looks like during the week:
(Ha! I almost posted that with a straight face! What our living room actually looks like is this, but with papers and blankets all over and the cushions in an extreme state of disarray. I tidied up for the photo.)
Past Friday night sofa-sleeping involved shoving the trunk closer to the couch and chair to prop up my feet. My heels would hurt and I’d seriously consider getting an ottoman.
Some time ago, though (I believe when I was sick? Lloyd was sick? I don’t remember), we hit upon this genius solution:
I know, right?!? It’s just perfect. I’m sitting up, so I can fall asleep watching t.v. soon after eating with no GERD consequences, and I can see the t.v. over the back of the chair! I love it.
There is one problem, though. I have things to accomplish this weekend and I’m worried that I will be unable to resist this sleepy spot’s siren song.
Remind me to move the furniture back in the morning.

Lauren…it’s time to move the furniture back. 😉
Lauren says
*sigh* I didn’t want to, but I did. Day of Achieving, here we go!!
Peggy says
Ha…are you watching Duck Dynasty? That show’s a hoot!
And I have a bunch to achieve today too, but I haven’t even started yet. Maybe I’ll have to postpone til tomorrow.

I found it hard to put into words just how much I like that show. A show I couldn’t imagine liking when I first heard of it.

That looks really comfortable. I wonder how long it would be possible to stay there. You’ll have to find out -- for the sake of science.
