It was Teacher Appreciation Week and also the last day of preschool. (We start our summer program on Monday, though.) Lots of children brought in flowers and it looked like a flower shop in the room!
One of the girls brought in tulips. A couple of weeks ago another little girl brought some tulips early in the morning and they were closed buds. Within fifteen minutes they had opened slightly, and in another ten they had opened more. I was sad I wasn’t time-lapsing them.
Well, when Kayla brought hers in this morning, I set up the camera during breakfast. This is just 25 minutes!

That is very cool!! I remember watching a time lapse movie in elementary school showing plants growing. It amazed me then and still does now!
Brad says
Do you take the pictures manually, or is there a setting on your camera that takes the pictures at regular intervals?
Lauren says
It’s an app on the iPad called Stop Motion. There is a manual setting and timed setting. I did not know about the timer when I first used it and wasted a perfectly good ‘cleaning the dining room from disaster to acceptable’ opportunity.
