Life without Lloyd

Journal

Lloyd gets home today!! Hooray!! It’s been…. not weird … not having him around.

It’s not that I don’t love him, but when we are home we really don’t talk much. I like the quiet, quiet, quiet of the house and he gets plenty absorbed in his geeky computer stuff, we get along peachily. Plus the past two weeks have been so busy I’ve either been at home, eating, or asleep. I turned the t.v. on twice. Did you hear that?? Twice.

But Saturday afternoon was fairly quiet, and I missed him.

And Sunday I wanted him to judge my video, but he was gone and five hours away, and I missed him.

And Wally, Lloyd’s cat, has become a little too familiar with me due to Lloyd’s lack of attention. In the bathroom, he tries to sit on my lap while I ….. do my …. duty… (Heh. I said ‘doody’.) I hear you say, “Close the door when you’re using the facilities” but guess what? When you are living alone you never have to close the door!

Get on home, Lloyd.

I hope he is bringing you lots of cool stuff from Hawaii!

And don’t get too used to the quiet….I’m sure he’ll have lots of good stories to tell you!

I live alone and I close the door when I do my duty. Doing so contains the aroma.
