A small obsession satisfied

Those of us in this house who didn’t go to Hawaii have been living quite frugally lately. I had to buy some stuff for school, though, so my late-evening trip to Wal-Mart turned into an impulse-buy fest.

I love nightlights. Really, any kind of lights – flashlights, lamps – it’s an unhealthy (but well-lit) obsession. Since we live in a house with one carpet-colored cat and two shadow-colored cats who like to lounge in the upstairs hallway in the dark, I thought this would be a good time to figure out a lighting system before Brad visits and squishes them in the night. I, myself, have squished them.

I may have gone overboard. As a side bonus, after testing them out? None of them really work. They don’t light up the place I need lit up.

Hmmmmm…. I need to develop an obsession with installing electrical outlets….

  1. Brad Said on:

Perhaps you could install nightlights on the cats.
