Well, we went to the reunion and a good time was had by all. I didn’t actually take a lot of pictures because it turns out you don’t need to when Lloyd’s sister is around. She has a great camera and better skills.
We stayed with Rachel and the kids and it was fun. (Sam stayed home to work on their house so it can be sold quickly. Prayers are welcome.) Lloyd has only found one tick on his person so far. I refuse to look at my own person, because I’d rather die of tick fever than see a tick sticking out of my skin.
Since I don’t have a reunion photo collection, let me show you the Burger King we stopped at on the way down. Did you see that up there? It was two story and had the exact same architecture as the bank beside it. We laughed and wondered if it was the annex and the bank just decided to have its own restaurant.
Inside, it had a play space, but the rest of the inside was tall, too.
They had balcony seating, but there was a ‘private office’ space with windows that looked into a suspiciously empty area with odd computer equipment.
I’m not paranoid, right? This place is definitely doing something shady, right? Right?

I think it’s so interesting to see a fast food place squeeze into an existing building. I saw a really interesting McDonald’s once in a downtown building somewhere. It was really narrow, but three stories tall.

Excellent title! Hehe…
I wonder if the bank people frequent it alot or are sick of it. I myself prefer McDonald’s & I wish one was attached to my building. Hey McDonalds…

Taco Bell had a site on High Street in Jefferson City for a while. It was two stories. After 5 pm all the capital workers left and it didn’t have business so they had a buffet. $4.89 for all the Bell you could stomach. It took about a month to recover and forget you swore to never go again before you did.

In St Louis there used to be a McDonald’s on a steam boat or paddle boat. I thought it was cool. Does anyone know if it is still there?
Mark says
The McD’s steamboat broke loose in the Flood of 93 along with the minesweeper USS Inaugural and was crushed up agaist a bridge piling by the current. The Inaugural sank downstream, but I don’t know what happened to the paddleboat. It is not on the landing anymore.
