Fail.

*weary sigh*

One of my blinds is broken at school. They ar temperamental and I’ve taken them apart to fix them before, but today was different. The lift string wasn’t just tangled – it snapped.

Argh. What I thought would be a fifteen-minute fix turned into an hour and a half fail. Lloyd even came to help, but it was a no-go.

Arrrgh. There is one more thing I could try. Maybe tomorrow.

I did take a picture of the blind’s specifics, so I can order another one from eight years ago.

I suppose since the blind is “2 of 4″, you couldn’t just go to Home Depot and get a cheap replacement. Are there others like it in the building that never get taken up and down? Maybe you could set it at a permanent length and swap it.
