I slept in! I really, really slept in until an embarrassing hour! Ahhhhh….. It was cold last night, and that makes all the difference in the world.
Then it was time to make breakfast. Lloyd is a wise person in that he said we shouldn’t feed the cats table scraps, but my one exception to this is that when I make scrambled eggs, I make a little extra for Emme and Wally. (Ralph doesn’t like them.) Emme knows all the signs: coffee brewing, toaster out, egg carton & bacon out. She’s yelling even before things get cooking.
Then it was on to a productive day. I did tons of laundry. The adventure was that I took all the bedding in the house to the laundromat! (I hadn’t washed the guest stuff since Lloyd’s family was here. I am disgusting.)
Oh, I also made it to the post office to get those packages mailed. Whew.
How was your Saturday?

I don’t know why, but it seems weird to me that cats would like eggs.
I moved stuff from my apartment to my house yesterday.

I went grocery shopping. I got some good bargains, but I really don’t like grocery shopping. I think it’s because there’s too much stuff in stores. Sensory overload. But it was good to get that done. I also cleaned the bathrooms.

I sat around a lot, got my Friday jobs done, ordered a return address stamp, got a sawhorse and tarp ready for when I and my neighbor get our air conditioning unit out of the window and wrap it for winter storage, lit the fireplace pilot light, and ate some delicious apple crisp Mom had made.

We woke up in Hallein, Austria and travelled to Nuremburg, Germany. Just the usual 🙂
