The other thing I brought to the tailgate party was some jot foil-wrapped sandwiches. (I didn’t put enough meat on them, and the drains was alright, but if don’t know that I’d make them again.)
Anyway, I was mad because I hardly ever use mayo or Miracle Whip, but I always seem to be buying it and it always seems that the container I have in the fridge is expired. How is that possible? On my sandwich-buying trip Saturday morning I didn’t buy any on purpose because I knew I had some in the fridge.
Yup. Two containers. Both expired.
Brad says
So did you make your own mayonnaise? I’ve seen someone do it on a cooking show once.
Peggy says
This just goes to show ‘ya that Mayo is the devil.
I don’t care for Mayo. I only use it in tuna fish. Never on sandwiches. Ever.
Gretchen says
The next time you’re at a restaurant that has mayo in packets, stock up. Apparently you need mayo in very small quantities, plus maybe the packets don’t have expiration dates. (Honestly, I’ve never looked.)
Lauren's mom says
What are the drains?
Lauren says
Dang it, iPad auto-correct! That was supposed to be ‘taste’ and ‘jot’ should be ‘hot’. That’ll show me for typing with a giant orange cat on my lap and trying not to disturb him.
