Is this thing on?

January 23, 2014

Journal

Apparently some people are not able to see this website, so I am asking for help. I realize our readership is a small number, but if you can see this, would you please leave a comment? It would be helpful if you said how you got here – directly typing the address, pressing a link, or using an RSS feeder. (My parents can’t see it directly typing and Karla can’t see it in her RSS feed.)

I realize this is a backwards way of doing this. Lurkers, help us out. :). I promise not to hound you.

I just look out the window to the west and see this site.

    I can see you!

And I don’t know what an RSS feed is.

I can see you on my computer, but not on my phone. And I don’t know what that means. Or what an RSS feed is.

I don’t have any trouble, but I did have to change all my devices to link to laurenandlloyd.com instead of lloydandlauren.com. Lloyd changed it when you got cyber attacked.

I type in “la” every morning and there you are! It took me a loooong time to break the “ll” habit…

The last time I had a new post show up in my feed was Monday. I can still get to you if I open that post about the shed, tap to read it in my rss reader browser and then tap the title of the blog to take me the most recent post at laurenandlloyd.com

In case you’re interested, I’m using newsblur. If I think if it later, I’ll check feedly to see if I can get to it from there.

Once I hit “Submit Comment” from the windy-shed-falling page, I came to this page. So I guess it’s fixed????

I, too, type in ‘l’. And your address pops up. Both on my laptop and my iPad.

I can see you on my PC using Firefox. You came through in my RSS (using Feedly), but a number of posts came up at once.

And you just came back in my RSS feed also! I’ve got everything since Monday and they are all appearing as unread. Woohoo!

Lloyd, did you jiggle a cord to fix it? 😉

I usually get you through RSS and it tells me these posts came in about 2 hours ago. I checked your website this morning when I realized I hadn’t seen a post in feedly for awhile, and I couldn’t see anything new on the website either at that time.
