Sunday, much like Saturday, was a good day. Church, grocery shopping, long nap then cleaning. I’d already been to Lincoln on Friday and Saturday, so instead of taking Lloyd to choir I stayed home and cleaned instead. It’s not perfect, but it’s sooooo much better than it was.
On the weekends I’m home when there’s daylight in the house, so it is incredibly obvious how much dust and cat hair is in the air. It’s a little mortifying. So today was a ‘tidy up and then vacuum a whole bunch’ kind of cleaning. I got a fair amount of the hair off the furniture and carpets, but what about the air? I’m too cheap to buy an air purifier, but do you think I could just strap a furnace filter to a box fan and let ‘it rip? Nah – I’m sure I’d have an unfriendly fire on my hands, so I think I’ll just try to dust and vacuum more frequently.
…. or shave the cats.

Ha! If you shave the cats, please have Lloyd video tape that!

Perhaps some of Lloyd’s beard is in the air.

I just spent a while browsing Lifehacker from your link. I like the fan idea, but so many of the other posts were about being organized or productive. Is there a way to just see the gadgety ideas?

We shaved our Orson every spring. He went from an old looking hair ball to a very cuddly (cold) kitten looking boy!! Way too much hair and hair balls everywhere!
