I am waiting until it’s all the way done to show you the finalization of the new nursery at church, but since these photos have turned out so poorly I am going to pre-post them here.
The church renovations have involved moving the old nursery to a new space – more about that later. There is a weird counter-height block that has to be in that room because it is covering one of the big supporting beams from the sanctuary. It is going to have a countertop put on it, but until then, it needed a little ‘watch out for this sharp corner’ warning/decoration (y’know, like one does). I went with liquid starch and a couple of ribbons.
Dang Lloyd’s old iPhine camera. This turned out really cute, and you’ll never know. 🙁

Lauren has made this into a lovely environment for adults and children. Thanks, Lauren!

Awww… thanks! I can’t take all the credit, though -- this has been a team effort. The lady that works in the nursery and staff from the CDC have all been in on this. 🙂
Brad, it’s the old choir room. Come over next weekend and I’ll show you around.

I’m confused about where that room is. Are the new areas open to the public yet? I’d love to come and do a tour some time.

If Deborah likes it, it has to be good. Way to go, Lauren and team!
