    Ha! Great picture! Maybe you should put some dirty dishes in there with him and see if he’ll clean them. A cat that does dishes? That would be worth something.

    Thank you! It has been a great day! I went with Bethany’s class (4th grade) to Grand Island and spent the day in an actual log cabin doing pioneer things. We made our own lunch (stew, cornbread (ground the corn), butter, jelly). All the kids ran over each other to wash dishes, go out and get more water or firewood, chop vegetables, etc. Then when we ate what we made, the kids thought it was food from heaven. It was really good.

    And the fun continues!
