Lloyd has the allergies now, and as his upper face is dissolving into painful, scratchy water, he has been apologizing for thinking that I was kind of a weeny earlier this week. Justification.
We went to a surplus action and ran a couple of errands in Lincoln, including a pharmacy for some better medication. Back home for a fantastic coma nap (medically induced for Lloyd, just natural talent for me), and then game after game of 2048. It’s a game where you slide number tiles around and if they match, they add up to become a new tile. The goal is to get they mythical ‘2048’ tile, which I will never do. I did get a 512 once, and that was pretty great. It is insidiously fun, and several hours have passed without my noticing. Must…. Join….. Numbers……..
Here’s the game link: 2048

256 and twenty minutes. I didn’t notice the time pass either. Thankfully I won’t be late to church.

On my first try, I did manage to reach 680. I had no idea what I was doing, except for randomly pushing the arrow buttons.

1716. First game. 🙂

Ummm…Maybe I misread the score thing.
Lauren says
Nope -- you got it. There are two ways to look at it: the top right tells your total score, or you can just go by how high you got the tiles to go. The highest I’ve been able to do was one 512. Only one, and I’ve been playing for two days. 🙂

I have seen the 1024 tile, and it is beautiful.
