Woo-hoo! Top Spot!

March 24, 2014

Journal

There is a list goin’ ’round the internets of the top 10 places to live in Nebraska, and Seward is #1!

(Of course, I don’t know if that means that we are the very best, or just the first on the list.)

I don’t know what kind of renegade Laura Allan is, but the important part of this story is that the picture of Seward used in the post is a stolen image from Lloyd’s Flickr account! Woo-hoo! We like this kind of thievery! To be fair, I did steal a screenshot of her article for my post, so an eye for and eye and all that.

Here’s the link: Top Ten Places to live in Nebraska

Oh, upon actually reading the article and not just hogging the glory, we do rank the highest. Again I say Woo-hoo!

Congratulations! Seward is a great place.
And how exciting to have a picture used like that. She even credited you.

I’m pretty sure that all of our photos on Flickr have a CopyLeft license. The one I picked says that anyone can use them as long as (a) they give credit for the picture and (b) anyone else is also free to use the picture that they come up with (if they make any changes to it).

WOW!! That is fantastic!! Way to go all you Sewardites!!

And you have low tax rates? Be prepared for a flood of people joining your little town now that this information has been let out of the bag. I’ll lead the parade in!

I do miss living in Seward even though I do live in the #4 ranked town. What I miss the most is the amazing weather. 🙂
